The small group rooms are the cheapest option. You'll be sharing bunk rooms with up to 4 students.
The share rooms have two large beds in them, so you will be sharing the room with another student.
Our private cave rooms are the perfect getaway for individuals looking to immerse themselves at the academy.
The private rooms have a large bed, all the standard room additions as well as a small fridge and ensuite bathroom.
During your stay with us at the Kung Fu Shaolin Academy you will be provided with three meals a day and all types of food are served including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options everyday.
Mondays are the exception where we begin the week by having purely vegan food to create a feeling of lightness and clarity inside. The fresh natural ingredients are sourced from our own academy garden and the week’s delicious meals are designed to provide the specific energy and strength needed for that day’s activities.
Our academy is fully fitted with all training equipment needed such as padded floor mats, punching bags and gloves.
Each student also receives a complementary practice uniform when they arrive at the academy
You can drop in for a few days, or stay for a couple of months. We cater our training to individual difficulty levels all year round.
We will provide a uniform for you, welcoming you into our family.
We provide all training equipment and facilities, but it's recommended you have your own boxing gloves if you don't want to share.
We provide internet access, though you might want to familiarize yourself with what you can and can't access on the internet in China and prepare accordingly.
We know the traditional squat toilets can be hard to master, so we have made sure you're comfortable in the academy with running hot water and sit-down toilets.
Necessary washing facilities are available around the clock.
Traditional Chinese culture classes, tea ceremonies and Mandarin language classes are all run regularly at no extra cost to students.
On the 15th of every month we will have a rejuvenating walking meditation in the mountains to refresh our bodies and minds in nature.
All students are free to access the mediation cave in free time after class - our purpose built room for you to find your deep peace and space within the universe while meditating.
The Academy has a common room where you can enjoy reading books and practice calligraphy in your free time.
When you leave the academy we will provide you with our academy certificate signifying the completion of your training with the academy's official stamp.
For students staying more than a month, we provide a complementary full day tour for up to 4 students with an english speaking guide (lunch will be provided) around the Shaolin temple in Denfeng and the surrounding area.
Families with children aged 6 and up are more than welcome and our staff and Masters are friendly and have experience teaching young students. Children will enjoy the space at the academy and the tasty meals and walks around the area are tailored with them in mind.
